Finish the island request, not only the boss fight
The progression rhythm is consistent: activate the island quest, obtain its trigger item, defeat the boss, keep the distinctive trophy, and return it to the relevant NPC before expecting new coordinates.

Opening island: use the quest route to reach and defeat the Spider Crab, then preserve its progression item.

Island 2: collect three Leeches, receive the Modified Leech, defeat the Giant Piranha, and return its skeleton.

Island 3: complete the Tourist request for Carrot bait, defeat the Pufferfish, and keep the unusual trophy.

Island 4: use Tuna to trigger the Albatross encounter and preserve the Albatross Head for the hand-in.

Final island: follow the Bowhead Whale and volcano sequence to summon the Mutated Bowhead Whale.
