Guide details

Before you begin

Reach Jetragon's relocated Level 70 Alpha island northwest of Sunreach, use the current coordinates, and avoid wasting a trip to the old Mount Obsidian spawn.

Jetragon's current Palworld 1.0 Alpha location, the flight from Sunreach to its separate island, the obsolete Mount Obsidian marker, and the current breeding limitation for obtaining a first Jetragon.

Check note
The current database and an independent 1.0 guide agree on the Sunreach-area island and approximate coordinates; the old Mount Obsidian location is no longer current.

Before you set out

Prerequisites#

  • Unlock access to Sunreach and The Azure Tapestry area before attempting the final approach.
  • Plan the separate-island crossing; a flying mount is the simplest direct approach to the Alpha, while the Wing Pack provides another aerial option.
  • Prepare for a Level 70 Legendary Alpha encounter and leave inventory space for capture supplies.

Survey 02

Jetragon's current Palworld 1.0 location#

Use the region and coordinate together so an old search-result marker does not pull you back to Mount Obsidian.

  1. Northwest of Sunreach#

Fly toward the separate island near The Azure Tapestry at approximately (−553, −1332).

The target is the Level 70 Legendary Alpha on the island, not a ground spawn along the Sunreach coast.

Route 03

Reach the new Jetragon spawn#

Treat the coordinate as the destination and Sunreach as the staging point.

  1. Travel to northwest Sunreach#

Move into the Sunreach region near The Azure Tapestry, then set approximately (−553, −1332) as the final coordinate target.

  2. Take off before the coast ends#

The simplest direct route uses a flying mount for the northwest crossing. The Wing Pack is another aerial option when it is unlocked; the Alpha is isolated on a separate floating island rather than connected by a normal land route.

  3. Confirm the Level 70 Alpha marker#

Before committing resources, verify that the encounter is Jetragon and that its Alpha level reads 70.

  4. Start the capture attempt prepared#

Land with enough space to manage the Alpha encounter and use capture equipment appropriate for a Level 70 Legendary target.

Fault ledger

If Jetragon is not where expected#

The route ends at Mount Obsidian
Discard the old (−789, −321) marker and navigate to the Sunreach-area island near (−553, −1332).
The destination appears unreachable from land
That is expected. The current Alpha is on a separate island; a flying mount is the simplest direct recovery route, and the Wing Pack provides another aerial option for the final crossing.
A breeding calculator suggests two unrelated Pals
Do not rely on that result for a first Jetragon. The current breeding route is Jetragon plus Jetragon after you already have one.
